Team Khwaab facilitates engaging workshops for NGO kids and invites them to showcase stalls at Celebrate Cinema Event
Team Khwaab arranged several NGO stalls during Whistling Wood International’s annual event, Celebrate Cinema. We had NGO stalls of Brown Living, Kanchan’s Global Foundation (Animal Shelter), Aseema Charitable Trust, The Movement India, Vidya Mumbai and which were attended by their executives and NGO kids!
Team Khwaab also organised Mandala, Zumba cum Garba and Fun Games workshops which were attended by the likes of 80 NGO kids and volunteers of Salaam Bombay Foundation, Salaam Baalak Trust, Spark-A-Change Foundation and Angel Xpress Foundation. Zumba Garba workshop was taken by two of our student volunteers from Team Khwaab. Our Alumni Harshita took the Mandala Art workshop. The attendees were provided with drawings of India’s map (keeping in mind Celebrate Cinema 2022’s theme, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) which were filled with mandala artwork. They were required to fill in colours in it, which they did skillfully and enjoyed a lot while doing so.
Our students also played various Fun Games with them where they seemed to have quite a good time! Finally, to add to this joyful day, the kids were shown a movie, Toolsidas Junior. All the participants had a great day!
Team Khwaab and Embrace also installed a Photobooth, which motivated people to live a sustainable life, and a Wheel of Emotions, which helps people identify their complex feelings better. Both the installations were.
